Diversity, Inclusion + Belonging

Our mission is to be the best consulting firm to work for and with. We do this by understanding and enhancing diversity for our employees and clients.

CapTech is committed to being an employer that welcomes all people and strives to be a place of acceptance and belonging. We endeavor to understand and embrace the rich and diverse backgrounds that make each of us unique – our passions, cultures, perspectives, and identities. Different thoughts, opinions, and life experiences do not just benefit our teams – they lead to innovation, creativity, and better results for our clients.

We stand in solidarity with our employees and so many others in the fight against racism and injustice, and aim to challenge biases as we cultivate diversity, inclusion and belonging. We recognize this is a journey, and are purposeful about creating and maintaining an inclusive workplace where all can thrive and are empowered to bring their whole selves to work.

Engaging in the Community

Servant Leadership is a CapTech core value, so it is not surprising many employees are involved in their communities, serving on regional boards and supporting non-profits. From CapTech’s start over 20 years ago, community involvement is a key part of our culture. CapTech actively participates in and sponsors many events to strengthen the diverse communities where we live and foster inclusion in our industry. We engage with a variety of non-profits supporting diverse communities with an emphasis on youth, career development, and vulnerable populations. We also partner with multiple diverse professional and student organizations across the country.

Encouraging Inclusion + Belonging From Within

CapTech has an active Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Council – involving members of our leadership team – that fosters a culture to recruit, develop, and promote a diverse workforce. The Council is committed to empowering all employees to bring their unique ideas, backgrounds, and experiences to each client and company engagement, making CapTech a best-in-class consulting firm for employees and our clients.  The Council is comprised of four committees, each focusing on important areas to the firm:

Raising awareness and increasing understanding by facilitating conversations and providing content recognizing diverse backgrounds to help CapTechers advance and foster an environment that encourages inclusivity and a sense of belonging.

Supporting underrepresented groups within STEM by creating new opportunities and avenues to build a more diverse and inclusive community, as well as supporting social justice within the technology industry.

Enhancing career progression and professional development through coaching, mentorship, and leadership programs, as well as Employee Resource Groups, which exist to strengthen a sense of belonging for all CapTechers.

Attracting talent from diverse ethnic, racial, cultural, educational, and talent backgrounds who embody CapTech's core values while being their unique selves.
